Ngorongoro 3 Day Walking Safari

DAY 1: TRANSFER TO NAINOKANOKA IN NGORONGORO

Pickup from the hotel in Arusha for a drive to Nainokanoka village in Ngorongoro

Upon arrival, initiate a walk to the Munge waterfalls which displaying magnificent view of the surrounded areas

Break for a picnic lunch and return back to the village

Proceed with the drive to the Maasai village (indigenous people of Ngorongoro highlands)

Go for a walking safari to learn about Maasai culture and traditions

Get a chance to see their local dances and making of handicrafts including ornaments

Set camp for an overnight stay

DAY 2: WALKING SAFARI IN EMPAKAI CRATER

Leave for a 5 hour walk to the exclusive Empakai Crater

Arrive around mid-day and descend down the Empakai crater with display of Oldonyo Lengai mountain ahead of you

Take a walk along the alkaline lake in the crater decorated by hundreds of flamingos

Set camp at the crater rim for an overnight stay

DAY 3 : TRANSFER TO ARUSHA VIA LAKE NATRON

Have breakfast and ascend out of the crater for a walk to lake Natron

Take a walk along the lake while admiring its beautiful alkaline nature with flamingos spread across it

Break for a picnic lunch and drive back to Arusha
