5 Day Great Migration Safari

DAY 1: Airport Arrival

Pickup from the airport upon arrival and drive to Arusha city

Transfer to the booked hotel

Delivery of a short safari briefing by the guide

An overnight stay at the hotel

DAY 2: Transfer To Serengeti For Afternoon Game Drive

Leave Arusha for a 6 hour drive to the exclusive Serengeti National Park

Have lunch upon arrival at one of the park’s picnic site

Proceed with an afternoon game drive in the endless Acacia Plains till evening

Transfer to the booked hotel for dinner and an overnight stay

DAY 3: Full Game Drive In Kogatende Area

Have an early breakfast and drive to Kogatende to witness the Great Migration

Enjoy seeing this mass movement where thousands of wildebeests and zebras move to Kenya in search of water and fresh pasture

Go for a drive further up a bridge to the north for a closer look while the animals cross over the Mara River

Observe ecological balance as predators, namely crocodiles and lions, await the migrating wildebeests and zebras to hunt them down

This natural event is the most breathtaking, unforgettable experience

Break for a picnic lunch and proceed with game drive till evening

Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay

DAY 4: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Checkout the hotel with packed lunch for a drive to the Ngorongoro rim

Descend down Ngorongoro crater, the largest unbroken caldera in the world and a home to the Big Five

Game drive to spot the exclusive Big Five (lions, elephants, bufallos, leopard and rhino), zebras, elands, spotted hyenas, jackals, Oryx

Break for a picnic lunch

Visit the small crater lake to see its natural beauty of thousands of flamingos decorating the lake

Ascend out of the crater and drive to the booked hotel for dinner and sleep

DAY 5: Manyara Game Drive And Transfer To Arusha

Checkout of hotel for a day’s game drive in the beautiful, lush and green park

Game drive to spot the famous tree-climbing lions, elephants, baboons, antelopes, zebras, buffalo, monkeys and giraffes

Visit hot springs to see hot natural water flowing over the mineral rocks

Break for a picnic lunch

Proceed with viewing game along Lake Manyara and appreciate thousands more flamingos on the lake

Exit the park and drive back to Arusha
