5 Day Selous Udzungwa Safari

DAY 1: Transfer To Selous Game Reserve For Afternoon Boat Safari

Pickup from your accommodations in Dar-es-salaam for a drive to Selous, the largest game reserve in Africa

Arrive to the reserve around noon and check into the booked hotel

Time for lunch and to rest while at the hotel

Take a boat safari along River Rufiji to view hippos and crocodiles up close

Enjoy nature’s stunning views during this real adventure experience

In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay

DAY 2: Full Day Game Drive In Selous

Leave the hotel for a day’s game drive in Selous in search of new adventures

Game drive to spot large numbers of elephants, large herds of buffalo, lion, hartebeest, leopard, sable antelopes, warthog, eland, waterbuck, zebras, giraffe, reedbuck, spotted hyena, Nyasaland gnu

Break for a picnic lunch and proceed with game view to see more wild species

Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay

DAY 3: Transfer To Udzungwa Mountains

Have an early breakfast and checkout of hotel for a drive to Udzungwa National Park

Have lunch en route and arrive to the park in the evening

Upon arrival, transfer to the booked hotel for an overnight stay

DAY 4: Full Day Udzungwa Mountains Trekking

Hike to Sanje Waterfalls for a spectacular view of Kilombero Valley Estate

Walk in the forest to view various primate species, two of which are indigenous to the surrouding mountains

Break for a picnic lunch and proceed with viewing wild animals and bird species

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay

DAY 5: Transfer To Dar-Es-Salaam
