4 Day Ngorongoro Manyara Safari

DAY 1: AIRPORT ARRIVAL

Pickup from the airport upon arrival and drive to Arusha city

Transfer to the booked hotel

Delivery of a short safari briefing by the guide

An overnight stay at the hotel

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Pickup from your hotel in Arusha for a drive to the Ngorongoro highlands

Arrive around noon and break for a picnic lunch

Proceed with the drive to the Maasai Village (indigenous people of Ngorongoro highlands)

Go for a walking safari to learn about Maasai culture and traditions

Get a chance to see their local dances and making of handicrafts including ornaments

In the evening, transfer to the booked hotel for an overnight stay

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER GAME DRIVE

Checkout of hotel with packed lunch for a drive to the Ngorongoro rim

Descend down Ngorongoro crater, the largest unbroken caldera in the world and home to the Big Five

Game drive to spot the exclusive Big Five (lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards and rhinos), zebras, elands, spotted hyenas, jackals, Oryx

Break for a picnic lunch

Visit the small crater lake to see its natural beauty of thousands of flamingos decorating the lake

Ascend out of the crater and drive to Manyara for an overnight stay

DAY 4: MANYARA GAME DRIVE AND TRANSFER TO ARUSHA

A day’s exploration in the lush green park located at the foothill of the great Rift Valley

Game drive to spot the famous tree-climbing lions, elephants, baboons, antelopes, zebras, buffalo, monkeys, giraffes

Visit hot springs to see hot natural water flowing over the mineral rocks

Break for a picnic lunch

Proceed with game view along lake Manyara to see thousands of flamingos on the lake

Exit the park and drive back to Arusha
