2 Day Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour

DAY 1: TRANSFER TO MTO WA MBU FOR A WALKING SAFARI

Pick up from the hotel in Arusha for a 1:30 hour drive to Mto wa Mbu town, a stepping stone to Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti

Drive to the base of the Great East Africa Rift Valley to climb it’s huge challenging wall

At the summit, get photographs while admiring the landscape and the view of lake Manyara from afar

Descend down the wall for lunch in town

Proceed with local tour exploring the beautiful town learning about their daily lifestyle

In the evening, transfer to the booked hotel for overnight stay

DAY 2: MIWALENI WATERFALL TOUR AND TRANSFER TO ARUSHA

Check out the hotel for a transfer to Miwaleni waterfall

A walking safari to explore the beautiful lush green forest. To make it more interesting, you can swim at the pool beneath the waterfalls

By noon, return to town for lunch

Visit curio shops to purchase handicrafts like maasai shuka and ornaments

Drive back to Arusha
